Preliminary Schedule
A preliminary schedule of events and seeding will be posted by Wednesday, March 21st. This will not be the final heat sheet and will be subject to changes. The final heat sheet will be distributed at the Coaches and Coxswains’ meeting, 7:00 P.M. Friday, March 23, 2012.

USRowing Waivers
A signed copy of the USRowing Release and Liability Waiver Form must be received for each rower.
The John Hunter Regatta accepts the USRowing online waiver available on the USRowing Website or you can find a blank waiver available for download at the bottom of this page. (PDF format)

Youth team rowers under the age of 19 must have a parent signed waiver.

If it is determined that there are missing waivers, the Regatta Registrar will notify the team coach or representative indicated on Regatta Central registration, via e-mail by Wednesday, March 21, 2012. Rowers will not be allowed to row if they have not been able to provide a signed USRowing waiver.

Registration Hours
Teams may register at the Lake Lanier boat house on Friday March 23rd from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 P.M. and on Saturday, March 24th from 7:00 A.M. to 9:00 A.M.  After 9:00 A.M. Saturday registration will move to the 1st floor of the Finish Tower.

Awards
There will be an overall College Championship trophy and an overall Youth team Championship trophy. The scoring will follow the official USRowing weighted scoring method based on the event and the number of entries in each race.

We plan heats and finals for entries in the varsity events with first, second and third place medals awarded for the finals. Team points will be awarded for the finals and not the heats.

The 2nd varsity, lightweight and novice events will accept two entries per event and will race flights only.  Teams may enter a third boat in an event and the boat will be considered on a “lane available – time stamp basis. Each flight will award first, second and third place medals.

We will hold several sponsored championship trophy events, awarding the winning team a race trophy plus their individual gold medals.

Official results will be posted on the Results Board at the Olympic Tower. Medals and trophies may be picked up at the awards table outside the tower. The team Championship Trophies will be awarded at the end of the regatta in the Tower area.

Team Information
The regatta organizing committee would like to know about your rowing team. We are planning to do a limited number of speaker announcements throughout the day. If you will provide a few facts about your team, we will announce the information during the day. Let us know we will put your team “on the air”.
